He looked at Autumn glad she had invited him in. He climbed her stairs to her place and saw the cozy living quarters "Nive palce" he said to her. He owned a little studio himself and could barely keep up with rent with teh job he had. But he had no where else to live besides the streets. He looked at Autumn glad she had invited him in.
He took a seat on the couch figuring he shouldn't interfere with teh coffee making. She was still on edge around him which he understood. He knew it took getting used to be around him so he simply remained patient.

Autumn lead Lucas through the main door, up the stairs and along the hallway toward her apartment. As she walked she pulled her front door key out of her pocket and proceeded to unlock the door. She didn't know why she bothered with locks, its not like doors kept monster and evil out. Stepping into her flat the warm air flooded over her cold skin and she pulled off her jacket and threw it somewhere near the coat stand. She kicked off her shoes, pushing them under the side board and turned to Lucas, watching him move into her flat and take a seat.
She walked through the lounge are and to the kitchenette, turning on the coffee machine and filling it up with fresh beans. "What would you like to drink, coffee, tea, beer, water, milk..." She opened up her fridge and sucked on her lower lip causing a high pitch squeaking sound. "Or we have some red wine.."

Lucas sat comfortably on the couch. It was a nice place, cozy and quiet. A nice little escape. If he lived in this place he probably never would leave. He turned to look at her taking in her beauty. He always noticed the beauty in people. It was part of the reason he fell. He had such a great conception of people and the beauty they carried. That's why humans facinated him. He looked up to Autumn and smiled "Whatever is fine" he spoke.

Autumn pottered around the kitchen area, gathering a tray and setting it up with a small jug of cream, a little pot of sugar and two black coffee mugs. The steam from the coffee machine flooded the kitchen, the red light now flashing green to let her know the coffee was ready. She poured the dark liquid into the coffee mugs and proceeded to carry the tray over to the sofa.
Placing the tray down carefully on the small glass round coffee table she proceeded to fill her mug with cream and three spoon fulls of sugar. She looked up then to Lucas realizing they had been in silence for a couple of minutes. She flashed a nervous smile before gesturing to the tray,
"How do you take yours?" She asked setting her mug aside. It was not often she got to play hostess, she had no friends, no social life and it wasn't like she really fancied calling up those she worked with for an evening in. What would they talk about? sin, death, monsters, death, more sin. Not hot topics for a fun evening. "Cream?sugar?"

He looked over at her with a smirk and looked down a moment. When she asked how he took his coffee he answered, "Just black" he said "Thank you" he said. Once he received his cup, he watched the steam rise and dance and swirl in the air. So intricate and delicate and graceful, much like an angel. He looked away for a minute knowing that Autumn was judging every move he made and word he spoke.
"So..." he said wanting to break the awkward silence "How'd you become a member of The Fifth? Or is that too personal?" he asked not wanting to offend her.

Autumn handed him his mug then proceeded to sit on the other end of the couch, turning her body to face him. She blew lightly against the hot coffee in her mug then placed it down on the coffee table. She brought her knee up into her chest and hugged it, resting her chin onto her knee.
"No, it's not too personal," Autumn smiled at him, "I was with the army, stationed out in Germany and...the army base was under some sort of attack, people, soldiers were going missing, their bodies mutilated. A small group of us went out into the forest to get some answers....It was a were-wolf...You can imagine the look on our faces when we worked that one out...The Fifth recruited me four years ago, during which time just being around the supernatural world awakened some psychic abilities in me, telepathy and mild clairvoyance, thats why i can see that you are not human..."
She brought her coffee mug to her lips, blowing the steam away and took a small sip. Her eyes looked through the steam at Lucas, placing her cup down again she wondered if she should ask him how he came to fall. She decided against it, it seamed a little too personal to ask.
"So, what brings you to London then Lucas?"

He looked at her as he sipped his coffee taking in the hot liquid. He looked at her with a nod listening to her story. He found it fascinating how many different stories mankind had. Everyone was different and each individual intrigued him. he looked at her and thought about his answer before responding.
"Well i had met rebecca in new york and lived there for a long time but after she died I traveled the world and wound up homeless and broke in London." He said. He didn't mention Angela. That was a touchy subject for him and he was afraid to reveal that much emotion with someone he had just met, or really reveal that much emotion at all.

Autumn was never good when it came to talking about death with people. It made her feel nervous and uncomfortable, so she figured best to just brush over the subject. If Lucas wanted to fill her in on the details he would, until then she would move the conversation on.
"Homeless...are you homeless now?" She asked with a sincere concerned tone, her eyes turning soft to look into his.

He looked at her with an awkward little smile and looking down embaressed. He looked at her with a smile "No...I got a job at the university as a night janitor...I live in a room at the motel in town" he said. "It's not much but the owner gives me a deal rate per month" he said to her. He looked at Autumn. "This place you got here is very nice and cozy..." he said to her sipping from his mug again.

Autumn laughed softly when he said her flat was nice and cosy. Poxy small more like. It was the only place she could afford that was close to work. Property prices in London were ridiculously high! Autumn took another sip of her coffee and gazed upon the fallen angel on her sofa. The Vatican and most of the world saw Fallen Angels as evil, against god, but research and Autumns own experience knew many simply wanted to be neutral, to lead as human a life as possible. Some even chose to become human. She had a good feeling about Lucas, he didn't seam like he was about to bring hell on earth, which in turn meant she wouldn't have to end up cleaning up his mess from human eyes.
"How long have you been fallen for?" Autumn asked, "You don't have to answer...it's just...I want to know about you..don't know why..I just do.."
