((cont from garden thread; good view))
Kip realized that he couldn't outrun this, whatever this was. He looked at the card in his hand and then looked up across the street at the residence in question.
He could just turn around and go home, but home,he knew the dreams would be waiting for him, those fits of dark light, just strange wierd things he wanted nothing to do with but couldn't ignore.
Not anymore.
Rolling his shoulders a bit, he walked across the street, and knocked three times at her door. He knew his appearance was a bit rough, his hair as still wet from the shower he took and he was wearing a baggy black cargo pants and a white t-shirt with his standard sandals. He hadn't shaved in a few days so that shadow was on his face, but at least it wasn't late, he just hoped she was home.
He knocked again, then held his finger on the doorbell so it would give a long buzz.

((After phone call from Kip...some time after))
Autumn had been writing reports on her lap top, sat on the couch. She could of written them at the Fifth Head quarters, but she always felt more relaxed in her small little apartment. Her bare toes wiggled as she leaned forward and typed quickly on the lap top, bringing her coffee to her lips, then placing it down before drinking as she raised a brow at the report she was writing. She was brought out of her daze by the knock at the door then the prolonged buzz of the door bell. She rose off the couch, patting down her jeans and straightening her small black jumper before moving toward the front door. She looked through the peep hole and saw it was the man...the nephilim...she seriously needed to find out his name.
"Hello..." She said softly as she opened the door, trailing her free hand to push a stray strand of her dark hair from her eyes, "Come in..." She stepped out of the way and held the door open for him.

Kip walked inside, "Thanks, " he muttered. Once inside he took a look around. "Nice place" he commented as he shoved his hands in his pockets with another roll of his shoulders, a habit he'd taken to doing a bit more often since Autumn's revelation, and stared at the ground.
"I, uh, I think you may be right, a-about me. You know the whole non-human thing. " he said as he reached a hand out from his pocket and mussed his hair. There was another painful itch in his shoulders and he wiggled as such, but tried to make it look casual, like a normal back itch but that knowingness in the back of his mind wouldn't let him get away with thinking it was just some casual back itch, something was happening to him, and he was here to find ot what.

Autumn smiled and closed the door behind him, turning to follow him further into her apartment. She watched and studied his body language her face as soft as could be considering she had a nephilim in her apartment.
She listened as he spoke and watched him give a wiggle of his shoulders, as if he had a back itch. That would eb his wings starting to take shape, the metaphycial energy forming to take on Wing shape. Eventually he would be able to push out full fledged wings from his back in a blink of an eye.
"Whats your name?" Autumn said and moved to sit down on the couch, gesturing for him to join her, "If i am going to talk to you i kinda need to know your name."

"Riiight, sorry about that" he said as he followed her gesture and took a seat near her but far enough to give himself some personal space. "Vittorio Valentine, but, everyone calls me Kip or Kipling, so take your pick" he said with a nervous chuckle. He rolled his shoulders again, and tried not to look annoyed about it.
"So, I'm a ... nephilim, what does that mean, exactly?" he asked, "I mean I'm familiar with the biblical references, after you told me I went and looked the verse up but it didn't tell me much. I'm trying to research it, but I don't know where to look, I figured you could help me out?" he asked as he mussed with his dark hair.
He felt very fidgety, not that he wasn't normally fidgety, but having all this metaphysical energy surging and buzzing in him, around him, through him, made him more so. Rolling his shoulders again, he rotated his neck. "Sorry, I've just been ... a bit ... I don't know weirded out by all this, especially since the episodes started, I don't know what they mean, its just so painful, and loud and bright, I ..." he let his words fade off as he shook his head and stared at the ground, eyes growing wet with tears. "I didn't know who else to go to" he muttered and then made a sob-like gasp

Autumn smiled sweetly, "A pleasure to meet you Kip...I'll stick with that, am better verbally with one syllables." She gave a light laugh and watched him as he spoke, seeing him fidget and struggle with the change in his energies. She relaxed back and calmed her mind, focusing on his aura as it changed so many colors, two sides battling, the human and the fallen angel.
"A nephilim is the child of a human and a fallen angel. Basically i am assuming your father was the fallen angel, though it has been known for the fallen the become woman and in turn have offspring. You are both human and fallen angel. Many nephilim never come into their power, many never know, some how ever are told, others have an idea and this triggers the metaphysical reaction. Right now i would take a guess that your wings are forming, they lay hidden, and are more like energy but can take physical shape...."
She watched and listened as his eyes grew with tears and his voice trailed. She instinctively placed her hand on his and gazed up at him. It was obviously too much for him and there was very Little Autumn could do to ease that.
"hey...it's gonna be ok..." She trailed her thumb over his hand, caressing it, "Just remember, half of you is human, if it comes too much to bare hold onto that, hold onto your humanity.."

Kip gave an uneasy laugh, "Wings ..." he whispered. "How can I hold on to my humanity if I'm growing wings? If I'm having strange dreams and weird flashes of dark light burn my eyes if I look at random people? What about my faith? What about that? What about my studies? How can I work for the Holy See as their servant as a priest, if you said that they hate my kind, that they look down on me?" He asked, voice all emotional and warbled.

Autumn watched as Kip seamed to unravel before her and she felt uterly to blame. What could she do to show him that Nephilim were not evil, they were what every the human side of them chose to be. They had free will, a soul, a human soul! She chewed down upon her bottom lip, trying to see how she could ease him. Then she knew and she leaned forward and placed her hands either side of his face, her eyes cool and calming and she met his eyes and opened up her mind, projecting all she knew, all she had witnessed about nehpilim, all the good, the humanity and that over all, what he was, how he acted was always dependent on his human side, his human reactions.

Kip gasped when he felt Autumn move toward him, "What are you do--" he fell silent, hazel eyes wide, he felt her power swarm his mind and then he saw flashes, not like his kind of flashes, that were pushing through the pain of his psychic virginity. These were old memories, all comfortable and worn. He felt it the good of the others before him. He felt them fall and embrace all of who they are as their wings took flight and their powers grow as they lived seemingly normal lives for Nephilim, but always having to keep their identity secret for fear of being found out by those who hunted them.
Feeling the power of the telepath surge his mind, he trembled and seized just a touch his breaths coming in pant-like gasps and hiccups. He reached up and took her hands by the wrists, "Enough" he breathed in a ragged voice.

Autumn felt the dull ache she often got when forcing her "gift" and before she knew it her wrists were siezed and Kip cursed enough at her. She looked at him, her eyes breaking from the swirling haze and she tilted her head concerned,
"I'm sorry, it's the only way i could think to show you...." She said quietly and looked down, not attempting to free her wrists from his grip.
"Change is never easy...."
