Time passed so quickly when one had lived as long as he had. Years blended with days, days with decades and decades with centuries. Had it truly only been this morning that Morgan had declared that more involvement was needed with the humans of The Fifth? It must have been for she was nowhere to be found all throughout the day. He did hope The Council’s beautiful voice of reason would sway the humans with her forever sound logic. There was a good chance of her succeeding, for a reason he couldn’t fathom, a sorceress was less intimidating than a vampire.
He sat in a large, cushioned char, clothed in the jeans and one of the short sleeved shirts that humans were currently fond of. His muscular arms crossed over his chest and his head was back with eyes shut as he thought. The alliance between The Fifth and The Council was unsteady at the best of times and this was not the best of times, trouble was in the wind and he knew others felt it as plainly as he did. If Morgan succeeded in capturing the trust of even one agent of The Fifth the times ahead would be less rocky for both organizations. After all, the ship cannot find the shore without the lighthouse to guide it.
He waited, deep within a pool of his own thoughts, for Morgan to arrive home once more.

(After Intel)
Morgan walked back into the Council Chambers straight from her talk with Autumn and Jackson. She so enjoyed speaking with humans sometimes, though it made her sad to think that soon they'd be gone and new set of mortals would take over. Thus was life when you were immortal, or close to it anyway. She walked in still clothed in her dress that was circa the 1500's she'd never taken to style the way Vlad had, though she wondered sometimes if it were comfortable.
She walked in and saw him sitting in his chair and smiled "Hello Vlad, were you waiting for me to return?" she asked noticing he seemed to be in his own mind. It was often just the two of them lately, as Judas and Jonas both seemed set to do things their own way for the time being. "I believe I have at least one member of the fifth who would greatly appreciate keeping us informed, lovely girl, by the name of Autumn" She smiled, at him and moved to her own seat, which looked more like a throne that her brother once sat upon.

His eyes opened as the sound of the door screeching open reached him. It was an old house and while they kept it in impeccable shape, a few screeches or groans were inevitable. Vlad's eyes followed Morgan's steps, watched her gown swish against the wooden floor and the curls of her hair bounce with each step.
"Welcome home, my owl." Wise and impartial, the birds of the night seemed to carry the weight of the ancients upon their feathered wings. It was an apt description of the sorceress. Both he and Morgan seemed more at harmony with the times. Considering how poorly they fit in, it truly spoke volumes for Jonas and Judas.
His head nodded up and down once as the sorceress informed him of the possible cooperation of an agent of The Fifth. "These are indeed good tidings. To long have we lurked, hidden, along side The Fifth. It is far past time for our alliance to grow. We work towards the same goal, but neither can succeed if one hinders the other with uneasiness." The Council alone held the information that The Fifth sought in regards to the monsters they hunted.
"Come and sit, my star. Tell me of what transpired at this meeting with the humans."

Morgan smiled at Vlad, he always had a way of using petnames with her that seemed to work. She finally sat down in her chair and listened to him. He seemed to be the one who understood her goals the best, and it made her feel better to know she had someone else on the Council that was on her side in the matter.
"It is not easy for them, while some of the respect us, others fear us. The Vatican has whispered things in their ears for years of our being awful and terrible beings. It was just lucky for me that I remembered meeting Autumn briefly when she was a newer member of the fifth. She and I are pretty much in agreement of the Council and the Fifth needing a better alliance, at least I believe she's in agreement." She nodded, she knew they had information that the fifth could use, if only both sides would agree.
"In the current situation, it seems that London is being overrun with Angels, Nephilim and Fallen Angels. As well as other types of creatures that most mortals know nothing about. Autumn and a man named Jackson are going to speak with the Fey and spirits and see if they know why all of this is happening at once. There is even news that the Angel Gabriel is in the city." She shook her head "If we would have been in contact with them from the start things would have been so much easier. We could have seen things more from the start, but now it is like coming in at the middle of a conversation and trying to figure out what the topic is."

He nodded his head, long and dark hair moving with him. The Vatican had handicapped their own agents with fear. Fear alone would keep one alive, he had discovered this during his time as a warrior. Terror of allies, whatever guises they wore, would result in deaths. Then those dead were replaced by offspring doomed to repeat their elders mistakes. It was the inevitable pattern of the world.
"Regrettably those fears are not easily put to rest. Most of those whispered horrors are based in truth. However The Vatican, those pompous, ignorant swine, would have the whole of civilization believe us to be bloodthirsty slaves to our urges." His top lip curled into a sneer. His alliance lay with the Fifth and while in extension that included the Vatican, he would not work with them directly.
"I suggest then, that we make ourselves more common faces among the Fifth. Put to rest the rumors we can and lessen the fear caused by those we cannot. Teams perhaps, with one or more of us and the humans. Whether the team be scholarly in nature or combat oriented. Nothing builds their trust more than the saving of lives." A small laugh here. "That is how I gained the trust of many of my servants over the centuries."
Gabriel in London? The Angel himself would not have been cause for worry but with the increase in the other types of supernatural beings, it spoke of hard times to come. This was the trouble in the wind, the shiver down the spine and feeling of being watched shared by the humans whose thoughts he casually shifted through while walking through crowds.
"So they will talk with the Fey and spirits, but not their allies? Jonas alone is seven thousand years old! Think they we know nothing?" He shook his head and let the anger die a bit before continuing. "But, of course, we can do nothing about that now. Informing the Fey and spirits is a good idea." His voice still held a sharp edge. "I think that if Gabriel himself truly is in the city, then we should seek him out. The reason he is here would undoubtedly tell us what we need to prepare for." That was easier spoken then accomplished, Angels were strange in their warnings or the giving of information to those deemed unworthy.

Morgan sighed "Yes their fears are not easily put to rest, it is the fault of the vatican, and I hate those wretched people. They create and orginization to take care bad 'evil' things, and don't care about the balance of things. It is good that they have people like Autumn there, she has a similar belief system as me, that there must be a balance of good and evil, to much of one throws things off. Though the fact that she said Lucifer himself has taken to visiting her and leaving her things frightens me a bit. Only because I know Lucifer would not do things for no reason, he's taunting the fifth and in turn the Vatican, that is my belief atleast"
Sighing she shrugged. "We should make ourselves more common among the fifth, the rumors about us are amazing, and I know we can't squash all the rumors but some of them need to be. Trust is what we need, a truce and trust between the Council and the Fifth."
She smiled at his anger "Vlad, luv you must realize that they wouldn't talk to us, we know as little about the goings on right now as they do, that is why I was discussing things with them. Besides they need to talk to the fey, and the spirits. I believe you are correct we should seek out Gabriel and see why he has come here, but I am not one for speaking with the Angels, if he were a Nephilim then I would be fine, but Angels, well I do not deal well with them for some reason" She'd never be sure why she couldn't speak to the angels, fallen and nephilim were one thing, but a true angel, something about them made her uneasy.

The news of Lucifer leaving tokens for their one hope of communication from the Fifth was unnerving at best at worst disheartening. "Taunting? Ha!" Bitterness lined his voice. "Leading, is more likely. He would pester the girl for his own amusement but the gifts have a meaning in his plot. Why would he leave them if they served no purpose of his? The real question being whether he is leading them astray or to."
It was a rare occasion when Morgan and he agreed upon so much. But then, the Fifth and the Vatican were where their opinions aligned almost to perfection. He thinking more logically than usual and in turn perhaps Morgan had gained some of his spite. "This, I should think presents a most opportune chance for our alliance to grow. A turning point is upon us, close the gap or widen it beyond repair."
"Bah!" An angry wafture of his hand, brushing off the truth that they knew no more than the humans did. Never would he admit to being as ignorant as a human, even one of the Fifth. "You are not one for speaking with angels and it a rare angel indeed who will speak with me. We are at a loss indeed it seems. Perhaps this Autumn then, though ties with Lucifer even ones so weak as being the object of his attention make me uneasy."

"I have no doubt that they serve a purpose, but Autumn has said that they're all written in so many languages, and some of the languages are those of hell" Morgan sighed "Even I in my wisdom can't read the languages of hell, but I have to agree with you, he's leading her somewhere, and I am unsure as to where"
She couldn't believe that Vlad and herself were so intuned with each other, it almost amazed her how much in agreement they were. It was bound to happen at some point in time, it just caught her offguard.
"I will speak with the angels if you wish Vlad" She nodded "Though we need to speak with lucifer as well, I'm sure."
(Sorry brain fart)

This new information, this of the languages of hell intrigued him more than the rest. He wondered of Jonas might be have the ability to translate some, even if not all, with the demon within him. "Surely then he is leading them astray, wasting their time with translating unimportant texts whilst he goes about his mischief. But then, being it Lucifer, that may be what he expects us to conclude and therefore the texts might hold something of importance."
"I believe the angels will have a greater chance of speaking with you than myself." He stared her incredulously, never had Morgan spoken with such obvious silliness! Surely she spoke in jest. "Speak with Lucifer?! What manner of joke is this? Why would he speak with us of his schemes?"
((no worries, happens to the best of us))

Morgan nodded at him "It might be possible that he is more clever than we assume, I don't like not knowing what is going on, and it makes my head hurt." She was used to being the one in control, the one who knew just about everything, and the fact that she was so thrown was a frightening thing for her, though she'd never admit to being afraid for any reason. "Either he believes we'll assume it's a joke and he's laughing at us for not trying harder to decipher it, or he is trying to make us believe he is smarter than us. Honestly I think the fifth should deal with him, I personally have no ill will against Lucifer, I've never even met him, though I doubt one needs to meet him to know what he is like."
She sighed "You are right, speaking with Lucifer would only give him more chance to deceive us, and he'd never tell us what he were actually doing, though if one were willing to speak with him, it could narrow down what he isn't planning, if you work on the assumption that he'd only speak false." She put an arm on her knee and put her face in her hands. "I seem to be running low on wisdom today though, and my ideas are coming out like those of an infant."
