“When one sleeps for many a millennia one has to inquire as to the happenings of the world in which he now wakes to find.” Wrinkling his nose more than it was already he snorted the breath much like a horse. “This world is oh so corrupt and in need of a cleansing, One she devil has been put to rest and another slumbers like death. It is not in a strange time I find myself waking, yet early still for the actions I shall be taking. Hell’s prison guards shall rise and bring the wicked man’s sweet demise. Innocent shall be corrupted by the need and where once an angel sat shall be sloth and greed.”
With a smile Satan’s cloven hooves pressed against the soil stamping like an animal. His fingers opened his palm waist height and facing him. Fingers slowly curling over as he continued his words “Seven are my sins; that oh do please for mortals to shed their guilt with ease. It only takes one to start the flutter and he who does not have shall be all that much fatter. His sin shall be grater till all seven are committed and then I shall have him and his soul his court case unable to be acquitted.”
Now with a smile he bowed to them. “Vladimir you will be seeing more of me soon enough.”

He did not like the sound of Satan’s words. They sounded too much like prophecy for his comfort and if this was indeed a prophecy than it was not one that boded well for humanity or those who stood opposed to the forces of hell. Also disturbing was the mention of a need for cleansing, the last cleansing Satan had done had involved a flood which wiped humanity from the earth. He was not eager for a repeat of such an event.
He watched as the god of chaos bowed, though with the words that preceded it, the bow was mocking in nature rather than a gesture of polite manner. The next sentence that fell from Satan’s lips was by far the most worrisome, he did not look forward to a future which included the god of chaos. Such a future would ensure his life was about to become far more interesting than he would have liked.
His eyes leveled with the god’s. “Manners dictate that I should say I’ll look forward to your company. I know you’ll understand if I forgo such niceties and say instead that I don’t relish the thought of seeing more of you.”
