Lucas took the steps down into the underground. He had traveled to many cities that used a mass transit system underground, but the London Underground seemed to stand out from teh rest. He boarded the subway car and took a seat. It was late and fortunately not many were on this particular cart. He would take the track all the way down. He would waste nights away to avoid the outside world. He knew establishing a close relationship with anyone, he felt, would lead to their death.
The other passengers slowly exited one by one until he was alone. He had his i-pod in his ears and the device in his pocket. The music was some Winton Marseilles songs he had softly playing as background music. He sat alone, like always.

The day had been a long one. Autumn and her team had been sent to a club to deal with a possession. The woman possessed had not survived the exorcism. Tired and worn out Autumn just wanted to get home and sleep. It felt like it had been days since she had seen her bed. In fact it probably had been days, such was the nature of her job. Working for the Fifth was of course, not meant to be easy, battling the forces of Chaos and keeping the supernatural realm hidden from man kind took its toll on your social life. In the end Autumn's life had become all about the job. She boarded the tube at Kings cross, taking the central line home. Walking into the stuffy, dirt ridden tube and walked through the carriages until she found a relatively quiet one, only one other person. She paid no attention, her mind busy with the events of the day. It was only as she sat down and began to calm her mind that she sensed something. Autumn was a telepath and a clairvoyant, both low level abilities she had only just discovered, but being a clairvoyant meant she could see and feel things regular humans could not. Like the aura around the man sat down from her, and the slight hint of...Wings? Autumn kept her eyes fixed on him, tasting his aura and realizing he was one of the fallen. The Fifth had one rule, don't get involved unless you have to. Which meant, unless human life was threatened you just had to ignore demons, fallen Angels and the supernatural community. Acting on nothing threatened your own safety and others, also, it created drama which her employers liked to avoid. Autumn leaned back in the seat, pushing her bangs out of her eyes as she studied the fallen Angel. She knew enough that she knew not all fallen followed Lucifer or the forces of Chaos, some were neutral, but then again some were just generally bad. She wondered which one this was.

He hadn't notcied the woman get on. He hadbeen lost in though thinking about earlier that night with Adina. He looked up when he sensed another. She was human, but definately gifted. He looked at her with a weak smile before looking down but he felt her gaze remain on him. He looked at her again and pulled his earbud out of his ear "Can I help you?" he asked politely. It was not angered or rude just a simple question. He looked at her seeing she was very pretty and very exhausted.

Autumn met the Fallen Angel's eyes and for an instant just looked at him, then she lowered her eyes softly, rising them back up when she began to speak. She studied his face, Man! The powers made them beautiful, even when they fell.
"I was just curious...." She said, her voice casual and polite, ".....What side are you on?" It was not a simple question. Her dealings with Lucifer had taught her well at how Angels and fallen angels could twist their answers, making it appear to tell you what you wanted to hear. But Autumn was curious, as to whether she should be weary of this Fallen Angel, if he was a servant of havok and chaos, or just a casual fallen neutral.

He wasn't surprised by the question. He could tell she had power to pick up on these things. He looked at her and sighed "I'm neutral" he said raising his hands in surrender. "Why you one of those spies sent out to find me or something" he said iwth a laugh. He looked at her and then down again "I'm just kidding" he said. She wasn't close but she was close enough to lean over for a handshake "I'm Lucas" he said offering his hand to shake.
His features were breathtaking, but hers captivated him as well and she was human! He smiled at her wondering who she was and what she was doing here on the tube alone.

Autumn gave a small nod when he said he was neutral. It did not mean he was good though, for all she knew he may very well think he was neutral but went around tormenting the human race. Fallen Angels always brought up the question in her mind of why they fell, so many fall for different reasons, she wondered why he had. He obviously didn't follow Lucifer, or maybe he did and was lying to her. She watched as he leaned forward and offered her his hand, introducing himself as Lucas. She gave a small smile, nervously and took his hand shaking it lightly,
"I'm Autumn," She smiled and released his hand slowly, his power falling over her skin like waves of goosebumps, "No, I'm not a spy....I'm just a girl on the tube heading home.." She gave a shrug, she wasn't one to tell all to a stranger, if you gave too much away it could be used against you and she did not know this Lucas.

He saw her hesitant reply. He knew she didn't trust him. Why shoud she? He felt the awkward silence linger in the air and decided to put his earbud back in and listen to his music. The tube stopped and the doors slid open and three men stepped in. Lucas recognized them began to go uncomfortable. The two larger goon looking ones took a seat on either side of Lucas and the other sat across from from Lucas. they ignored autmn not really seeing her. "Well well Lucas, how are you? Lucifer is really not pelased with the way you butted in earlier tonight and wants you to expect a visit from him soon" he said.
Lucas sighed "Okay whatever are you and your goons done?" he said annoyed.

Autumn looked at the men that entered, watching the two larger ones sit beside Lucas. the third sat a foot away from her. She listened to the conversation and sighed, when would Lucifer learn.
"Ahem!" She said loudly, "Public place boys...I suggest you all get off at the next stop, and tell Lucifer what ever issues he has with Lucas he needs to confront in private, away from mortals...."
She pulled out her cell phone then and opened it up, pressing her finger on speed dial, "I press this button and you'll find this carriage swarming with Agents of The Fifth....we all know how that ends..." She gave a tilt of her head and flashed a very fake smile. What on earth was she doing? She should of just ignored them, they had been no violence, and she quite possible just made the situation worse.

The men looked at her and Lucas gave her a 'oh-no' look. The man speaking turned his attention to her and smirked "We didn't see you there princess, but now that you have made a name for yourself" he said. He signaled his men who grabbed autumn from either side and pushed her against wall of the railcar. The other came up in front of her "well now that you are involved...we have two choices: kill you because I dont trust you t let you go....or keep you with us" he said. He gripped her jawline and picked up her scent "mmm your a pretty little gifted bitch arent you?" he said.
Lucas came up and stood behidn the man "let her go!" he said annoyed. He turned to look at the man and sent Lucas flying into the other end of the cart. He hit the wall hard denting the door and jiggling the car a little. He teleported back over quickly and got the man in a head lock. He didn't want to astral project anything at him if a human was narby.

Autumn cursed under her breath as the man who had been speaking turned to her. She was suddenly grapped, and though she struggled it was three against one. She had no chance. She tugged her face out of the man’s grip and spat in his face.
Just then Lucas came behind them and for a brief second Autumn though maybe she had a chance, but Lucas was thrown clear aside against the car. Then in the blink of an eye he was back again, before her and grabbed the man in a head lock. Autumn twisted out of the other two men’s grip, spinning on her heel and aiming a right hook square in the first mans face, ducking as he reacted by aiming a punch at her. Suddenly she felt herself picked up by the second man, she struggled, trying to get free but was promptly throws several feet away, crashing into the seats. Ouch was the first word that came to mind.
