Kip went silent again. "Yeah, and when I do I'll be able to prove to you that I am in fact very, human!" he said, just a flicker of stubborn, determined will in his voice. He couldn't believe that he was anything but human and least of all the spawn of some fallen angel, some demon, some abomination.
Even as he thought that he felt his mother flinch away from him with that look in her eyes, that look that said she knew something he didn't. Was this it? He was partly a fallen angel? Had his neglectful father really fallen from grace?
What did this all mean? Why did it want to come about and show its ugly face now, when he was in seminary school. Some way to tell him to stop and to turn around and go a different direction?
Who was his father before he fell anyway? Angel of what? He had no idea, but it didn't matter because his father really wasn't an angel just some deadbeat who never hung around. Kip was trying hard to convince himself that he was indeed human, despite what some loon he met in the church told him...

Autumn sighed and rubbed her eyes, "Look. you know where i am, if and when you come to grips with this, feel free to find me...I know allot more than most..."
She didn't bother saying good bye, the conversation had left her some what worked up and she threw her phone across the room, watching it bounce along the floor.

Kip practically threw the phone back on the cradle and sat there and steamed. "Nephilim. Yeah right, no way I could possibly be ... that" He hissed at the ground. Despite how much it fit his life, the weird looks that his mother gave him, the way his father was never around, how she, Autumn was so hesistant to tell him.
He shook his head. "Nope. Nope. Nope." he said, but he couldn't shake the feeling she may be right, and that slight buring itch on his back, just flared up again.
