(Hmm ... continues after the Cathedral thread Trying to find peace)
Kip was still moving in to his new place here. There were half-open boxes with clothes strewn over the top of it, and a box of half-eaten pizza on the kitchen counter.
The couch was in the middle of the living room that skewed look like it was just plopped down because the movers were tired of moving it and their arms gave out.
Kip looked through the mail as he came through the door, tossed the keys into the basket with some of the mail as he opened one of the letters. It was from his mom and his coven. He had just got the phone turned on this week, though he'd been in the place a month.
Opening the letter he rolled his eyes, reading it aloud, "Dear Vittorio, I hope you are okay, I had the most terrifying vision about you the other night, I hope you are okay, when you get your phone hooked up you should give me a call, I always will love you, Kipling darling, stay well. ~~~Mom. "
He looked down at the bottom of the letter, "P.s.. I'm sending you some candles in the mail sometime soon, you need to put wards on your house to ----" Kip stopped reading and crumbled it as he tossed it into a different basket. "Candles .." he grumbled, then went and plopped down on the couch. He ran his hand through his dark brown hair and sighed.
"Man, what a day ..." he reached down and emptied his pockets. Feeling that card he stiffened. "What is it you know about me, telepath?" he whispered, he looked to the phone. "Destiny indeed" he said, commenting on the irony of the situation.
Going over to the phone, sitting down on the floor beside it, he dialed the number, hoping he wouldn't regret it.
