[/b]phelia sighed when she noticed that one of her school books was missing, displeased that she knew where it was. It was probably still nice and cozy in her locker at school, which was locked by now. Great The girl rolled her eyes, not wanting to get off her lazy butt, face the cold, and go get it. After a few moments of staring at her bag that was missing one book, that she needed, she sighed heavily and got up, thinking it was better than failing a class in her senior year. "hey mom, I forgot a book at school, can i take the car?" She peeked her head in her mom's office at home, spotting spotting a stressed out woman that probably could use some sleep. With a jerk, her mom looked up, her strawberry blonde hair bouncing off her shoulders, "Oh, sure honey. Be careful though." With a warm smile, her mother went back to her studies. Nodding to herself, Ophelia walked into the kitchen and grabbed her mom's car keys. After putting her jacket on, she walked out the door and hopped into the car, immediately putting the heat on.- - - - -
O
Parking the car in the school's parking lot, she hopped out of it and began walking toward the building, her hands in her pockets, trying to pull her jacket closer to her body. "Excuse me, but do you need anything?" She would have jumped if it wasn't for her seeing the security guard walking toward her, "Oh, I just forgot my book in my locker." With a stiff nod, the guard unlocked the doors to the school and let her carefully slip in. It wasn't like she was afraid of her school or anything, but tonight she was a little more on edge than usual, resulting in the girl moving quickly toward her locker that was on the other side of the building. Two or three minutes went by until she actually reached it, quickly opening it and taking her book out. Now, exiting the building, she thanked the guard and was on her way. And in the middle of listening to some music and driving her way home, the car seemed to hate her and made a weird and obviously bad noise. "No, come on, come on." She tried to start it up again, but her response was a failed attempt. Great.
