Judas smirked, impressive was one way to describe a seven thousand year old warlock. Scary as fuck was probably more accurate. The main point being that Jonas wasn’t someone you wanted for an enemy, or would want to meet on less than pleasant terms in a dark alleyway. “I’m sure he’ll pay you all a visit soon enough. And by you all, I mean you. You earned a bit of a reputation amongst the council after meeting with Morgan, so you’ll end up getting most of the surprise visits. I’ll leave it to you to decide if that’s good or bad. It’s just not often we find a fifth member willing to talk reasonably with the strange sort of creatures that make up the council.”
The smirk widened into a grin when she fished for a vow of loyalty. This woman was good at her job and she obviously understood war if she was already worrying about allies. “Now, Jonas is the fearless leader of the council so the final word is his obviously. It’s safe to say that you can count on us though since we have humanity’s best interest in mind. We don’t want to see the planet go down the tubes any more than you do and I think the council’s in agreement that the best way to prevent that is to work with members of the fifth like yourself.”

Autumn smiled, "Thank you Judas, I can only imagine thats the time ahead of us is going to be stressful indeed..." She rubbed her eyes and shook her head slowly, her chocolate locks falling over her shoulders.
"I feel a little comforted that The Fifth will not be dealing with alone, I can only hope some form of solution appears in the nick of time."
That was an understatement, she wondered if praying would help, was there some one would could answer her prayers, she doubted it. Always an Atheist, even with all the goings on, Autumn just didn't have blind faith.

Stressful? If his suspicions were right then stressful would be one hell of an understatement. Chaotic would probably be a good word to use for what the future was bound to hold. His tired eyes followed her movements as she shook her head. She had the look of someone who had been forced to work hard recently. If the fifth intended to get involved then she would be working a lot harder...they all would...he just hoped that everyone was up to the task.
Judas took out his flask and took a deep swig. "Wish I had more comfort to offer ya, kid." Looking at Autumn, he wished he could just make the whole war disappear for her, for humanity in general. He wasn't one for sentimentality but the human race was not prepared for this...most of them didn't even know there was something to prepare for. It just didn't seem exactly fair to him. But since when had anything ever been fair? Life's a bitch and then you die, sometimes.
Things were silent for a bit, both were probably lost in their own thoughts and fears for the future. He looked back down to the book in his lap. Lucifer's supposed gospel. "Should I keep going with this?"

Autumn followed his eyes down to the book, a crinkled frown appearing across her brow and her shoulders hunched up into a shrug.
“I very much doubt we’ll find a magic chapter on how to banish Satan back to where ever he came from, if there was such a thing in there am sure Lucifer would of done it himself...”
Hazel hues moved up from the book to Judas’s face and her frown lessened and she forced a smile, “Thank you though, for trying to help, but i do not think a solution will arise from Lucifer’s mindless rants of self absorption.

He laughed. "No, you're probably right." There probably wasn't anything useful in the book. It was most likely just stuff that Lucifer had written to add to his already enormous ego, which was not exactly something Judas wanted to sit and read through.
Judas nodded when she thanked him. He didn't know what to say, 'you're welcome' sounded to corny and so did 'it's what I'm here for' and nothing else came to mind so he stuck with the nod. Better silent then stupid, or something like that.
"Anything else I can do for you? While I'm here and all." Alright yes, he did realize that sounded like a very bad pickup line but he hadn't meant it that way....all right not completely that way.

"Anything else I can do for you? While I'm here and all."
Autumn bit down upon her bottom lip and fell silent a moment or two when Judas asked his question. Still a little star stuck a few thoughts crossed her mind and make the corner of her lips smile before she shook her head and fell into a small giggle.
“No, there’s nothing i can think of,” Well, nothing appropriate any way, “Is there anything I can do for you Judas, anything you need the Fifth to do?”
She was sure there would not be, after all he was thousands of years old, he knew more than the Fifth could even begin to know.

Judas could tell by the giggle that her mind had gone to the same place his had, the gutter. He probably could have phrased his question better but it had come out before he realized how it had sounded. She probably thought he was some ancient pervert who was trying to pick her up. Not that he would mind picking her up..oh hell..there went his mind again, sewer diving.
He nodded when she said there wasn't anything she could think of for him to do. The nodding stopped when she turned his question back to him. He hoped she realized how hard it was to bite back the dozens of comments that flashed through his mind. After centuries spent in the same house as Sam, there were quite a few. "Nothing the fifth can do, for now at least." Was what he settled for because it would have been a lie to say there was nothing she could do for him. He could think of several things.

Those few seconds after you say something, waiting for another to speak, can, at times feel like hours. This was one of those moments for Autumn. Why did she have the feeling both their minds were drifting to places they really shouldn’t. In truth she was still a little star struck and intimidated by Judas. Who wouldn’t be? And of course he was physically gorgeous. Autumn shhh’d her mind then and almost chocked on air when he said there was nothing the Fifth could do, seemingly stating there was something she could do.
“Uh huh,” She smirked, “Nothing the fifth can do? Am i lumped into that category, or is there something you want me to do?”

He was tempted to do one of those hand to forehead motions that the movies are so fond of. Of course the woman would have caught on to the not so subtle hint in his words. It surprised him to realize that he was actually flirting, he hadn't done that in a very long time. Still, there was something about this woman, something calm and silently accepting that made him more comfortable than he normally was.
The smirk told him that her mind was following the path that his was headed down which was almost certainly dangerous. He was a demon, he was one of the most hated figures in history, but he was still a man underneath all of that. He couldn't fight the smirk that spread across his face.
"Let's just assume that you're thinking exactly the same thing I am, that way it saves me having to answer that honestly." He shook his head.

Her smirk turned to a soft smile as her hazel hues danced over the soul collector in front of her. Was she even rationally thinking of pursuing this? Surely they were just flirting harmlessly, nothing would come of it, could come of it? As he spoke Autumn shook her head,
"You'll find i act better when some one is blunt and straight forward to me. I see blunt talking as showing a person has the guts to follow through with their intentions." She said softly, "If we are thinking the same thing...how does the saying go..."
Don't say it Autumn, this is not "play time" this is work Of course once again Autumn did not listen to her own thoughts.
"...actions speak louder than words?" She smirked.
