A number of attacks were held near St. Paul's Cathedral. The people are panicking. We've spread stories around, but we can't contain this forever. We want to know who did it and what's going on.
Fine then. I'll check it out and tell you what we're dealing with. Then you can call the Vatican or whoever deals with the offensive manuveurs. I'm just an investigator.
The call had been a half-hour ago. Now walking around the grounds of the church, Masahiro noticed that all of the dead bodies were charred and had fearful faces on them. "Burned... The creatures posessed the ability to wield fire... and such a fearful expression in the air... Were they hideous monsters or did their aura reek of evil?... I'm beginning to think we're dealing with some sort of hellspawn here. I'll have to check into it..." Masahiro took out a knife and put some gloves on before cutting off a piece of burned skin and placing it in his bag. "We'll have to run some tests. Demons usually leave an imprint within the burned flesh. If there's a pentagram shape, it's definently Hell on the loose."

Autumn was close behind, opening her mind up to the scene, trying, if anything ti pick up some residual energy. her mind had been so cluttered recently what control she had over her "gifts" had been some what lessened.
"Do you smell that?" She asked turning to Masahiro, her emerald hues looking around the scene, "Sulpher..."
It did not take a genius to work out what that meant. A demon. She let out a sigh and noticed reporters were desperately trying to get past the ten foot steel barriers they had placed around the scene.
"test the flesh, I'm going to see if i can get a sense of any spirits still here, see if the dead want to talk...."

"Right," Masahiro said. He walked out of the cathedral and back to the cat. His laptop and mini scanner were set in. He removed the flesh wearing his gloves and placed it on the scanner. A few minutes later and Masahiro was looking at a zoomed in picture of the flesh. The pentagram was there. Even with the sulpher smell, this confirmed it. Masahiro walked back in. "It's really a demon. The pentagram was there and everything. So the question right now is... what do we do about this? Should we, any chance, contact the Vatican, let them know Lucifer's letting his troops take a walk?"

Autumn shook her head, "Not all Demons work for Lucifer, on average more work alone than anything. if this was a fallen Angel then i would point the finger, But demons are tricky to place blame, they herald from all religions all gods, and i have only ever dealt with a few. Those that work for Lucifer act differently, they possess rather than kill, seeing the humor in tainting a mortals soul..."
She pushed a stray strand of hair from her face and let out a deep sigh, "We'll check the scene, see what else we can find to try and help identify the demon..."

Lucifer bit his finger lightly. "Funny... I guess they neglected to mention to me that not all demons worked for Lucifer... In fact, they seemed quite adament in telling me he does... I suppose I need some more knowledge on demons, but the Vatican are hardly the ones to go to then." The cellphone rang. "Hold on a minute." He answered it. "Hello... Yes, the murderer is a demon... Uh-huh... Oh dear... Ok, we're on our way." He closed the phone. "More bodies near the University. Whoever it is, he's not trying to keep the supernatural world a secret... Ms. Autumn, are there some demons who try to expose the supernatural world, maybe as a way of instilling panic and disorder within humans?"

Autumn laughed, "There are always Demons wanting to reveal themselves...that's why we have a job!"
She gave a wink and rolled her shoulders, stretching out her arms. She had a feeling it was going to be a long, long day. She tried to recall what her bed felt like, she needed sleep, or at least some more coffee.
"Ok, lets go...we'll take your car, i have some things in mine i need to grab, then we'll get going." She ran to her car, unlocking the boot and taking out a very, very old book. It looked leather bound, but it was not leather, it was the skin of a demon. Inside were the writings of Lucifer, incliding some very interesting passages on killing demons.
She came back with the book and nodded, "Lets go."
