Kip entered the cathedral and walked down the center aisle knealing once he got to the front pew, he crossed himself. "E Nomine Patris, et filli, et Spiritu Sancti" he murmured then kissed his knuckles and rose and sat down in a pew.
He took out his rosary and looked at the crucifix. Before looking up at the large one on the wall, surrounded by stained glass. Then he noticed the candles over to the side, he got up and went over to them. "Light a candle for the soul of those you love" he read the plague that was by the box of matches. "I guess, I can light one for my parents" he said, and then proceeded to do just that.

Autumn stepped into the cathedral and walked down the side pews. No matter how many times she said she was no religious, she could not deny that there was a god. Not after everything she had seen, But she had doubts, why would a God allow so much pain and suffering. The words in the bible were riddles and twisted sentences that went against so much, if she went by scripture she was a sinner and would burn in hell. Well, she knew Lucifer so at least she would have some on to talk to.
Dressed head to toe in a black trouser suit her three inch heels of her boots echoed through out. She unbuttoned her soft jacket as she sat down at the front, revealing a soft cotton white blouse, framing her slender neck perfectly. Her hair fell in long, dark soft curls below her shoulders and her emerald hues looked out before her. She saw the back of a man lighting a candle and instinctively opened her mind slightly. It was habit, checking to see who was human and who wasn't.
Nephilim She sensed and rolled her eyes. Was it too much to find a single human in London!
She rested her arms on the front pew and rested her chin down, studying the back of the Nephilim. She couldn't sense his power, another one who did not know. She had met many, some she would see again who had come into their power, discovering their true nature. Some neutral, others dark and twisted.
She shrugged and opened her mind up even more, boredom setting in she smiled and sent her thoughts out into the cathedral, seeing if he would pick up on them.
Turn around.... She smiled.

Kip went still, he felt a sort of nudging in his mind. A female voice. He rolled his eyes. "Mom, if you're fooling around with spells again, I told you to leave me out of it," he whispered harshly nearly blowing out the candle with his breath. But that voice had told him to turn around. Half of him wanted not to, just to spite her.
"I swear, if you're astral project--" he cut off as he turned around and saw that for the most part he was alone in the Cathedral, his mother's astral form wasn't anywhere to be found. Come to think of it, that didn't even sound like her voice. It could have been one of her coven sisters. But he didn't see any of them either.
"Hello?" he called out. "Mom, this isn't funny. What's going on?"
After he got no answer, he realized there was a woman standing near some of the pews. She had a smile on her face, she was probably amused that he was talking to himself.
"Oh." he scratched the back of his head. "Sorry, I was, uhm, I don't know, I thought I heard someone," he said with an attempt at a nonchalant shrug. He gave eye contact and averted it awkwardly for a few moments before he gave in. "You didn't hear anything, did you?" he asked her. "I mean, I'm not crazy ..."

Autumn gave out a soft laugh when the man turned and began talking to himself. Maybe he was not near approaching his power. She technically shouldn't of been testing, after all she worked for the Fifth, they fought and battled Nephilim who took it upon themselves to cause mayhem and havoc. She wondered what the Vatican would make of her talking to one.
You did hear some one She spoke softly into his mind, her eyes focused directly on him as she slowly stepped forward.
"I'm sorry," She said out loud, "it seams it has become a habit of mine to test peoples abilities,"
She was part of The Fifth, they kept the supernatural hidden, they battled the forces of darkness and all that hoo ha and here she was announcing she was a telepath to a stranger. But he had mentioned astral projecting. Maybe his family had a history of magics.

Kip frowned, obviously confused, "Are you a witch, because if you are, I'm sure the priest here will hear your confession." he said, crossing his arms across his chest. "Abilities, what are you talking about abilities, and what spell did you use to do that mind-to-mind speak anyway?" he looked around a bit to see if anyone was listening before he scratched the back of his head again.
"I'm not a witch, you know. My mom may think I am, and are waiting for me to come into some uber magickal powers, but they'll be waiting until the fields of Elysium freeze and become an icicle in the pit of lava in the eighth layer of hell, because its never going to happen. I'm not ... I'm not ... I'm not like them, okay. I'm in seminary school and I'm going to be a priest" he said, though he was hardly secure of it himself as he said it.

Autumn chewed on the bottom of her lip as she listened to him talk. She gave shrug and looked down to the floor. A priest...Well that was ironic. She exhaled deeply and brought her emerald hues back up to his and bobbed her head in a nod.
"Ignore me, I'm just some crazy loon in a church talking rubbish..." She half smiled and turned to walk away.
Don't get involved Autumn, She told herself, Let him not believe, it's better isn't it,
She took a few steps forward and looked up to one side at a stained glass window, depicting the creation of Adam and Eve.
"yeah...the edited version...throw Lilith into that picture then you half have the truth..." She muttered.

Kip felt something pull at him, seeing her walk away. It was that feeling when you know you've missed an opportunity or you might if you don't act fast enough. He clenched his fists and gathered hsi resolve.
"Wait." he called out, and ran through the pews across the church to follow her. "Please, wait, I ---" he let his eyes flutter upward, as if seeking guidance, "Uhm, those things you said, what did you mean, and how did you talk in my head like that? I've never seen a spell like that, and I've seen spells" he said, doing that looksie over his shoulder again, trying to make sure no one over heard him.
"Why did you do that anyway? You think I have some sort of latent power? I mean, just ..." he was all flustered, but he wouldn't let this opportunity just walk away. He met her emerald eyes levelly with his hazel ones, expression serious. "What do you know?" he asked.

Autumn turned and faced him, his body language flsuered. She tilted her head inquistivley and paused for thought.
"It was telepathy," Autumn said softly and wondered how much she should tell him, "Look, like i said...I'm just some crazy...You don't want to head what i have to..well..could tell You. You'll work it out eventually..maybe."
Well done Autumn, you really do sound like a babbling idiot.
She pushed her pale fingers through her hair, pushing several strands behind her ear.
"What i could tell you could destroy you and i really shouldn't, but thats the annoying thing about human nature, Free-fucking Will...sometimes i wonder why he doesn't come down and zip my mouth..."
She looked upwards and frowned then brought her eyes back to the young man before her.

"But how do you know that this moment wasn't God-Ordained, like Fate, he wanted us to meet, so I could hear what you have to tell me, so I could make some changes in my life before its too late?" Kip asked.
"I've never met a telepath before, but my mom ..." he looked over his shoulder again, "She comes pretty close, and I'm not just saying that because she's my mom"
He gave a slight chuckle. "Look, you got all freaked once I told you I wanted to be a priest, but as you can tell whatever it is that you know, if its about magick, I am not completely ignorant about the subject. "I mean, honestly, how bad can it be, you make it sound like I don't know ... something horrible."

Dharma shook some of the blood of her hands, the exasperated sigh that eased from her lips sounding loud in the devout silence of the priests cell. The excess blood splattered in the puddles already there, and on the fashionable jeans that graced Dharma's legs. Rolling her large eyes, she stepped over the body and exited the small room.
Stepping down the stairs, the shadows seemed to deepen behind her, melting into her overly large shadow. Dharma bumped the nearest door open with her hip, leaving a little drip of blood that had trickled down her elbow. Seeing it was the sanctuary, she slipped over to the holy water basin, but stopped in her tracks. Like a deer in headlights, her stared at the two people speaking quietly this was not good. Had they seen her, should she vanish?
