[OOC//: This is a continuation from 'Every Morning The World is Created' with Sylvain. All is welcome to join in if anyone cares to.]
The pub was small, and more decent compared to others she had been to. The place was grit-free; no stains on the dark walls or ceiling, and a mopped and waxed floor. The lights cast dim, blue-hued shadows and it made the soft afternoon appear rough. There was a small stage at the front of the pub where a band played different cover songs and allowed requests on a small sheet. They also had an open guitar case where people walked up and threw in tips. Marla casually glanced over the place, and spotted an empty table set for four in a far corner. She didn't like it being so far from the exit, but it was the only place open for grabs. Swiftly, she walked over toward the table, her ballerina slippers making her appear more graceful, and sat at an empty seat. The basket that had been cradled in her arms was placed into an empty seat next to her, and Marla tucked into the basket a small scarf that had been delicately wrapped around her neck. In here, the heater was on to keep the customers warm from the Autumn chill. There was no need for the scarf anymore.
Marla's honeysuckle hues glanced around urgently, searching for Sylvain. He had followed her here to the pub since she had offered him breakfast. The walk had taken a little while, the morning now turning into late afternoon. She had lost her way while searching for the pub, but her promised breakfast was probably the reason Sylvain still came. And, he had seemed reluctant to come in the first place, assuring her that they dine in public. Marla had smiled with a light chuckle and agreed, then they took their leave. Now, as Marla spotted Sylvain by the entrance, she flagged him over to her, waving her hand in the air and almost falling off the edge of her seat. While Marla proceeded to get his attention, a young waitress came over with a menu. She handed it to Marla and said her name was Ginny, and that she would be serving her for the night. Marla took it graciously, and scanned through it as she waited for Sylvain to take his place.
