Description:
A man of average height, Jackson has dark hair, which has begun to receded, though he would never admit it. he has a strong looking face, which often supports two days worth of stubble and hazel eyes that seam compassionate and warm. he dressed casually, in jeans and shirts and never leaves home with out his lucky leather trench coat, which has seen better days.

Personality:
Finds it difficult to see women, children, or other innocents come to harm, sometimes to the point of unleashing unholy destruction upon whoever is responsible. Sense of humor that often includes obscure clichés and gallows humor. Forms strong attachments to those he cares about, and can nurse a grudge for years before coming to terms with it. Not very subtle, but very tenacious. Often oblivious when it comes to women hitting on him, but when he does catch on, he plays for keeps. Fully willing to sacrifice himself for what he believes is the greater good, even if it means damning his own soul.


History: Born and raised in Yorkshire UK
Born to a family with a long history of magical arts, Jackson, like his mother's side of the family bore remarkable abilities from an early age. Tutored by his mother and grandmother he excelled in witchcraft and sorcery and had his eyes opened at an early age to the supernatural world. He was home schooled so never really got a "typical childhood." After all, who gets to practice turning frogs into bunny rabbits in pre school. When he was 16 he set out to experience the world, and enjoyed it a little too much. Finally after floating about, traveling Europe he returned to the UK when he heard of a rise in supernatural activities in the UK. Trying to do some private PI work in investigations, it was during his PI work he was recruited by the Fifth to be their magical liaisons officer. He has been working at the Fifth for ten years, and makes a habit now of being the local court jester, making light of any situation.

Powers/Training/Experience/weaknesses

Though not the most skilled he has a vast amount of untapped power. He is a natural Warlock, meaning he was born with his power, so in theory can cast any spell as long as he knows the specifics.

He is skilled in rune magic, Fire magic, Air magic.

He is an expert at tracking spells (which he uses in investigations) along with summoning and entrapment spells to speak to faeries and other supernatural sources of information.

Due to his lack of finer control, Jackson often must rely on magical items to help focus and channel his magical energy. Jackson has also been known to carry around many firearms such as a .38 revolver, a .357 and most recently a .44 revolver and a sawed-off shotgun for those times when 'magic just doesn't cut it'.

Is a technophobe, doesnt understand computers, modern tech, and tries to avoid it at all costs...machines have a habit of blowing up on him


Family/Ties:
The Blackthornes, his mother and father, all very much alive.

"ya gotta do what ya gotta do..." Jackson was at least trying to convince himself that this was a good idea. But who was he to ever rely on the logical reasoning in things. So, here he was, on top of the roof of The Fifth HQ looking into the sky for a sign...a sky that was now causing it to rain. Heavily.

"Sign my ass...fucking Jesus couldn't get a sign in this city..." Looking for signs, wasn't exactly Jackson's thing, he wasn't a pre-cog, or much of anything, he was just a regular Joe looking to make a good wage. Of course there was the small detail of him being a Warlock, and working for a secret organization funded by the Vatican. All that aside though, he was regular, a regular Joe...Stood in the rain..looking at the clouds.
