Watching them quietly, Adina knew why he was there. Tonight, the Martin would make a choice. He would either go home with this woman he was now pinning to the wall of the corridor that led to the restrooms, or he would go home to his wife and three children. It was a troublesome act of sin. But, not one Angels typically were asked to become involved in. No, this one had even deeper consequence for Martin. For the ride taken with the prostitute would end before he even got her to the hotel. So, not only would he plan to commit adultery, but he would end up killing the prostitute with himself. All in all, it was a end of story not so desired by anyone.
However, as Adina sat at the bar. Her hand gripping a glass of wine that never lifted to his lips. The Angel could not help but look. Watching the embrace, watching the kiss. Wondering how it truly felt, and then shaking her head and looking away. She took a long deep breath, to calm herself and right her very being. Temptation even touched Angels, and Adina had long fought that calling his entire existence.
Lifting bright blue eyes back to the scene, Adina realized the couple had darted out of the club. With a shake of her head, the Angel released the glass and slid off of the barstool. Swiftly, she moved outside into the night. Just in time to see them both jump into a taxi and drive off. His lips whispered a very human frustration to tumble from her lips, albeit innocent, "Oops."

The street lamps flicked as he walked beneath them, having once held the power of light itself, Adam Morningstar, as he was currently calling himself, walked slowly through the street, taking in the rich scents of sin and corruption. He loved London. He was dressed in a pair of black leather pants, industrial black Gothic boots on his feet, held up by a collection of lather straps. His top half was covered in a simple black shirt, left half open to show his pale, toned chest. A mid thigh length leather jacket swung open as he walked, taking in a swaying motion. It was then he felt the sudden tilt in power in the air. One of his brothers he did believe....Not another fallen, no! The taste was too sweet, an Angel, if he was not mistaken, A Thrones rank if he was not mistaken. It was as he continued walking he found the owner of the power, a blond haired beauty. He watched the scene unfold and moved toward The Angel, he recognized her, but her name escaped his memory. They all looked the same to him, androgynous creatures stuck up their own back sides in righteousness. In the blink of an eye he moved himself behind the Angel, twisting the darkness around him, teleporting over to her. He slipped behind the Angel and Whispered in her ear,
"Cant win them all..."

Lucas walked into the opera house which he frequented a few times a week. He was so used to drinking alone by now. After losing people he cared for, it was hard to get back on his feet. He was a fallen yes, but he was not out looking for trouble, just love. He knew he many angels' minds that was sinful and it appeared as if he had given in to temptation. But he had fallen for love, not lust. Unfortunately for him he came to realize that with love he would suffer and risk the lives of those he loved. He blamed himself for the deaths of those he'd cared for. In order to rpevent this he chose lust. He figured if he could have even a brief moment of passion, it would suffice. Of course he longed for true love but had convinced himself he was not worthy of it.
He entered tonight with a hooker following him. She had caught his eye down the road before hand and latched on like a leech. He wasn't going to push her away but he did try to ignore her, that didn't work out according to plan though. He strutted to the bar wearing a pair of black jeans a white tshirt and a black cargo jacket. He wore a necklace that consisted of black thick leather string that knotted itself around a silver circle that had the silhouette of a bare tree. It rested on his upper torso. He also wore a silver ring on his index finger anda black leather string braceleted knotted on his wrists. His feet were covered in a pair of classic chuck taylor converse. His hair was shorter than usual at the moment and didn't require product to be kept up.
He sat at the bar and ordered a drink while the women began to place her hands all over him and kiss his cheek. It was clear he wasn't interested but he didn't care enough to push her away. He put back a shot and gulped hard letting the liquid slide down his throat.
He sensed two others like him here at least. One gave off such a sweet taste in his mouth, it must have been an angel. The other pulled at his insides clouding them up. For a long time he had struggled with the pull towards darkness. He had chosen to remain neutral now but knew it was only a matter of time that darkness overcame him. Whoever this other was was definately from that darkness and he played a huge role...he turned for a second to see and instantly picked up the sense of who it was...Lucifer. He turned hoping he wouldn't notice him. Lucas knew he was a target to be brought completely down to hell.
He saw Lucifer teleport over behind her and wanted to make sure he wouldnt hurt her, but he couldn't go over without revealing himself.

Shi had begun to turn, one step to hir right. A quick teleport and maybe...just maybe. No. It was too late. The sound of the tired squealing, the shatter of glass. Screams resounded all against the sides of the buildings. There was no more Adina could do. Hir job was over, done. The angel rocked back to hir feet. Fate had claimed the mortal and another. They were gone to the world, for now. Now it was left to the Great Ones to decide what to do with the adulterous couple.
There was a darkness that came about hir, and the Angel lifted up hir chin in quick recognition. Shi lifted up hir chin slightly. The darkness always seemed to enjoy taunting hir kind. Angels were beautiful targets, even more so then the mortals about them. Highly won prizes, glorified ribbons to be yanked down from heaven into the forever night of the soul.
Adina sighed calmly as the voice came to pass against hir ear. But, shi did not look back at him. Shi didn't have to. Adina knew that voice, that darkness of the spirit. Most everyone of those who daily touched their feet to the earth knew him. Hir face held no expression, no change. Shi would refuse to let him get to hir, "No, we cannot Lucifer. It's called free will. But, we are here to at least try, to give them a chance."
(going to try and attempt gender neutral pronouns)

Lucifer laughed loudly, "Ah yes, free will, I know it all to well...Ah...you have to admit, the guy up stairs, he did a wise thing allowing us to have the free will as well as man...if he hadn't...well...i would be like..well.."
He tilted his head and looked down at the Angel, perfect beauty in a-sexual form. The thought alone made Lucifer giggle. He studied the Angel, testing it's energy, feeling the warm sickening glow of love seep from it's being. Lucifer felt sick. Then he felt that small little pang of...what was this? Want? Desire maybe? Jealousy. He could not tell, but this Angel had a little too much humanity in it, often the case with guardians.
"You envy them dont you, their touch, their skin, the way they kiss, fuck, screw..."

Adina arched a brow. Everyone knew Lucifer's story. He had been so special, a chosen one. And yet, he had decided to leave the side of the Great One, to become the Prince of Hell. Adina did not understand how one could stop wanting to be a part of the great love. That great love kept hir work alive, beautiful. To help mortals feel that love and hopefully make the choice so one day they might ascend to the heavens. Lucifer wanted them otherwise. To live in his darkness, his world of sin. Hir chin lowered for a moment, a slight shift of hir head to the side. And yet, Adina still did not look towards him, "He is a good Lord, Lucifer. He does not lead others into pain, yet gives them the choice. A good father who loves. You made your choice to turn away from that very love."
Shi could sense the electric of the powers that danced around hir androgenous form. The very giggle attempting to taunt hir. Adina remained aloof as shi could, calling a peace to hir heart to help hirself relax so near to him. Like all fallen, they loved to test hir kind. Taunt them, and shi could sense him searching to find that loose piece of hirself that he could use.
The discovery in his words caused Adina's chin to jerk suddenly, moving hir gaze away from any nearness to the Prince of Hell. Bright blue hues blinked, as he continued. He had found hir loose feather, that one sin that Adina fought so hard to push away. Shi wanted to know, yes. But, to know would mean to descend. To descend and fall to the world of mortals, to him. Adina wrapped hir arms about hir body, a soft prayer danced in hir head. Shi could very well walk away from him, but Adina had to prove to hirself that shi could not so easily fall. But, how? Shi could not lie.
"It is a gift that seems to cause much strife among. They seem to allow it so much control over their emotions. I will admit, it is something that I do not understand," Adina looked across the street. A couple walked near the buildings, hand in hand. They seemed oblivious to the world. As if only the two of them existed for all time. A slight turn of the head, and the couple stopped to place their lips to each other's. Their steps faltered, and the kiss was over. The couple falling into a set of giggles, and then continuing in a more hurried step to their destination.

Lucas could hear their conversation at a distance. He looked over in his periphal vision and saw that Lucifer was trying to pull at a weak spot for all angels. The same reason, he had fallen...sort of. He was usuing the lust approach...and partial love. For Lucas it had been the opposite reasons. He looked over knowing going over and interrupting would not be the best idea but he felt obligated. That goodness still in him.
He stood up away from teh prostitute who seemed to be talking so much she didn't notice lucas teleport towards Lucifer and the woman. He spoke in his soft sweet voice. "Let it go Lucifer...leave her be" Lucas had had some run ins with Lucifer and the guy clearly knew who Lucas was. He had been on his case to fall completely into darkness for a long time and each time it wore Lucas down more and more. "She's just trying to do her job, don't make it harder than it already is" he said.

Lucifer half listened to her answer, running his pale fingers though his hair. He followed her eyes to the couple walking down the street and shook his head with a mischievous smile. He quietly called upon his soldiers, sensing who was near enough to come out and play. To the human eye, everything looked normal, for Angels and the fallen a darkened shadow fell over them. twisting and turning the Shadow made after the couple, twisting into a humanoid shape and stalking them. Then, in one frantic movement the shadow swirled around the male of the couple, whispering sweets nothings and wicked truths into his ear. Putting doubt, paranoia and hatred in his heart. Then, the shadow moved away and vanished. Lucifer watched then with amusement as the man pulled his hand away from the woman, calling her every name under the sun and accusing her of adultery.
Lucifer brought his eyes back to the woman, "Oooops..." he winked and raised his brow in a childish manner before grinning from ear to ear. Then he sensed the presence of another and rolled his eyes and turned to face the fallen angel he knew as Lucas. Not all fallen followed him, many did not, they all fell for different reasons. Lucas's story made Lucifer piss himself laughing, fell for love, and love died, again and again.
"let it do it's job....I am not interfering in her work...god forbid! Besides, I am with in my rights to speak to my old family, have heart to hearts and cherished memories.." his tone was condescending as was his twisted smile.

Lucas looked at Lucifer with a harsh glare. He knew the man thought he was weak. But Lucas was far from it. He looked at him. "Bullshit man..." he said "Just...leave her be...she's doing her job and dealing with other beings of free will...you don't have to throw it back in her face" he said to him. He knew many fallen Angels, regardless if they followed lucifer or not, thought Lucas' reason for falling was rediculous. He didn't really care what they thought though.
He took a step forward "back off...go fuck the girl that's at the abr inside...she seems lonely and won't notice she's talking to you instead of me right now" he said to her. "

Another moved towards them. Adina's eyelids closed for a moment. It seemed this corner was filled with Angels of the fallen kind. But shi sensed this one was different. He had given up his life in heaven not to stand beside Lucifer. Adina turned around now, to look at the one who was trying to defend hir. He was a beautiful angel, his humanity had not changed him beyond the loss of bright wings and a place in heaven. Shi tilted hir head towards him, and was about to speak when the thick cloud of darkness descended on them.
Shi spun around quickly, hir bright blue eyes seeking the couple. Adina could see the shape moving behind them. It angered the Angel, shi disliked it when Lucifer dabbled into the lives of humans. Shi took a step forward, and then before Adina could do anything the shadowed had disappeared. But, whatever he had done to them had already been set in action. Horrible words spilled like a plague from the males lips. The woman looked horrified.
Adina's heart went out to the woman. Shi suddenly teleported to behind the man. Standing unseen for a moment. Adina leaned to his ear, telling him to look into her eyes, how much she loved him. There was no way that she would ever do something like he had just accused of her. The man seemed to contemplate the odd voice in his head, and shook his head. He crumbled to the sidewalk before the woman, pleading for forgiveness. That he did not know what had come over him. Adina waited for a moment, as the woman took the man's hands and lifted him to her. Both moved away from the Angel, only now they seemed so much more somber, lost that spark at least for the moment that they both had.
Shi made hir way back, a bit more slowly now. Listening to the two squabble. Adina shook hir head slowly. Anger, an emotion so strong came from both of them, "Please, do not fight over me. I will be fine." Adina flashed a gentle smile towards the one called Lucas, unsure that shi had ever seen him before. But, just maybe shi had, "You and I both know that this is the way of Lucifer." Adina turned hir vivid gaze to Lucifer, "Please, understand. I am happy serving as I am."
