It had been two years since Matthew had fallen from heaven. Now it was the biggest mistake he had made. He had fallen in love with a human and wanted to feel touch. That soon turned into him leaving heaven and becoming a male on earth. Then he showed Jessica his wings and she ended up dying. Life sucked. Matthew was glad he still had his powers though. So he still carried out his mission to save those who needed it. It was night and Matthew was wondering through the park, looking around for anything to do. He had trouble sleeping and besides, some creatures of the night liked to kill innocent people at night. So he found himself walking along the side walk, looking around for anything to do.
He was wearing simple jeans, like usual, a dark blue T-shirt with his tanned leather jacket over him to keep him warm. He sat down on a bench as he glanced around. He knew he could protect himself easily if someone tried to attack him. It wasn't that hard when he could move in the blink of an eye and teleport. So he wasn't worried about the things that went bump in the night. He never really was. He sighed gently, leaning against the bench as he listened for anyone...or thing.

The hot fluid of sacred elixir flowed through her veins. Blood poured from the corner of her mouth as she closed the apartment door oh a young man. Mya wiped her mouth and licked the excess blood off of her hand. He was such an easy target as he was already fasinated with vampires and wanted to be bitten. Jon thought it was a sexual thrill so why not give him pleasure. It satified both of them, though it still didn't make her happy. It was simply what she had to do to survive.
The vampiress started to walk down the streets as she wrapped her trenchcoat around her almost bare body. The warmth of fresh blood heightened her senses as she could strongly smell the drunk humans walking around the streets. They knew what life was, at least that is what they thought. Only if they had lived her life, then they would truely look at the world for what it was and actually value their life.
As Mya went deep in thought, she found herself at a familiar place once again. It remember her of so many things that her body was automatically attracted to the earthly place amongst the flowers.
Quietly she walked around and listened to the wind speak to the night. Her body was slightly, blurred as so was the blood that flowed through her body.

Matthew figured tonight would be a quiet night. Nothing would happen. So he should probably head back to his apartment and try to get some sleep. He opened his eyes and got up and started for home. He hadn't even paid attention to the figure that was moving. He grunted softly as he felt himself slam into her, stumbling backwards as he shook his head. One thing he didn't miss about being able to feel touch was pain. He looked up and said "I'm sorry." He gave his head another shake as he got over the shock. He was usually pretty good at missing people but he had guessed she was moving faster then normal humans. He said "You shouldn't be out this late miss."
He wasn't sure about her. He may not be able to tell who was a supernatural or not but he was sure she wasn't human. Unless she was some vampire junkie searching for some vampire to bite her. It was stupid to be out at this hour if you were a human. If she tried anything Matthew knew he could easily teleport home so he wasn't afraid. His body was relaxed and so was his facial expression.

Thoughts consumed the vampiress mind, but quickly was interrupted. Something, more like someone walked right into her. Mya let out a quick squeak, then looked up at the fellow. The garden was usually empty at this time of the night. Vampires and drunk people were the ones that ran the streets of London at this time. Mya didn't blame him for bumping into her, only a few would have been able to see her.
"Its okay," she said in a calming voice." Why shouldn't I be out here? The night air is thick and inviting. I can handle myself. And why are you out? Don't you have anything better to do?," she asked.
Mya hated when people questioned her actions. This man seemed level headed enough and she was sure he hadn't been drinking. Then again there was something about him that screamed not human. Her brown eyes looked into his with a blank expression.

Matthew kept his footing, not wanting to fall and seem like he couldn't fend for himself. When she spoke he noticed the calm voice. Something told him she wasn't human. She was really calm. And he hadn't seen her so he guessed she was a vampire or something else with quick speed. He raised an eyebrow as he titled his head to the side slightly. He shrugged his shoulders and said "Well if you aren't human then you have nothing to worry about. But something tells me you aren't human."
He shifted his weight on his feet as he dug his hands into his pockets. He wasn't sure what she was and part of him didn't want to know. Yes he wasn't human but he didn't threaten people. He saved people.

Her dark brown eyes, watched the fellow as a sly smirk stayed on her face. "I would say the same for you. Then again no human would have bumped into me dear."
The wind slightly blew her hair from the vampiress oval face. A wide smile showed her pearly white teeth with no signs of fangs. Even after feeding there were always perfect. Mya wanted to confuse the ...whatever he was. NO need for him to know what she just got finish doing or the throughts running though her head.
Her smile slowly faded and her eyes turned cold. "Care to join me?," she asked. The vampiress was a loner and has been for decades. Tonight she felt the need to be near someone other then mindless humans who wanted her to drink their blood for the sexual thrill. There was something about the man that made her want to stay near and she didn't understand why. Maybe in her mind he would either be her victim in the future or maybe something else.

Matthew had a small smile and spoke "You are right. I am no human." He could move just as fast as her. The thing was, was he could teleport and that came in handy. When she asked for him to join her he nodded. He said "Sure." He shrugged his shoulders as he was glad at least he hadn't ran into some blood thirsty vampire or something. Well. He didn't know she was a vampire but she wasn't a blood thirsty one right now. So Matthew felt calm. Though he did wonder what she was. A lycan or a vampire. She wasn't an angel or a fallen angel. Matthew knew that much. He wasn't one to pick enemies. He saved people thats all he did. She didn't need saving though. He was sure of that. She could fend for herself.
Matthew spoke "I'm Matthew. Matt. Matty. Whatever floats your boat." He had been called many nicknames over the years and really he didn't care. Whatever she wanted to call him he didn't care. He'd have to adjust to a new name though and probably wouldn't respond to it instantly but he'd get the hang of it if he was with her more.

"A non human can taste another," Mya said as they started to walk again. The stanger felt almost human, but that was an outer layer. On the inside he was hiding something. She could tell he wasn't a witch for their smell was more rich. His showed that he had been around for a long time with a hint of holiness in it. Maybe angel? The vampiress ran into her fair share of angelics and his scent matched up perfectly as she jogged her memories back to when she met Aharah, Michael, and a few others. Either way, he felt different.
Her arms wrapped around her waist as they started to walk again. The blood buzz was starting to ware down and all she had underneath her trenchcoat was a very thin tank top. Mya eyes followed the path ahead of them. Where it would leave them, she didn't know. Just like how this decade where lead her, she didn't care to know right now.
"You have sure a boring name that doesn't hit you. We are not in biblicial times anymore. I would have to rename you," Mya smiled as she looked at him. She was sure that he was an angel and wanted to make sure that she knew he was. "The name is Mya and don't care if you rename me as long as I like it. Though I wonder why would be you wondering around the gardens as this gloomy time. So dark and lonely."

Matthew chuckled softly when she said he had a boring name. He liked it but perhaps it was because he had been called that all his life. When she said he could rename he smiled slightly. He let his hand 'accidentally' brush up against her hand that was around her waist. Ice cold. Vampire. He asked "What about Vampire?" He raised a brow as he asked this, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye as he watched where they were going. He was pretty sure he was right. After all it would explain why she was out so late and didn't seem to care. Either heading home from getting some blood from some junkie or searching for a junkie.
He was unsure if he was right or not but he was willing to find out. He figured if she was a vampire he would probably have to tell her what he was or she could figure it out on her own. Being an Fallen Angel had its ups and down. Even if he craved to go back home he liked being on Earth. It was easier for him. He didn't have to worry about making the right choices or not and wind up getting thrown out. Not a lot of people had guessed what he was so he was interested to see her reaction.

Mya narrowed her eyes as his hand purposely touched her hand. Such a sly guesture that the vampiress had to admitt that she would have done. Smart fellow, but wouldn't he think that she has done that before? Such small gustures always had a meaning.
She dismissed it and figured that he now knew what she was. When he said vampire, it confirmed that. "Sorry, not a name you can use. Mistress sounded better," she said in a cold voice with slight sassiness in it.
Quickly the vampiress moved in front of him in the blink of an eye, stopping Matthew in his tracks. "How about I call you angel, then again it doesn't fit," she hissed. "You still never answered why you would be out here, don't you have something to do?."
Her brown eyes flickered as she looked him dead in the eyes then quickly turned away to walk again. Mya did want him near, but she wouldn't let him know that.
