Description:
Serellia is an interesting woman to be sure, but she does not appear special in any way. Her long dark hair and grey-blue eyes seem to accentuate her paler skin tones. Her stature would be average to many, or petite to others coming in at a mere 5'6" and being rather slender, but what she lacks in strength and body she makes up for in speed and brains. She tends to wear her hair down and flowing, and dresses casually unless she is going out for a night on the town.
Personality:
She is not an extremely combative woman, she can hold her own if she needs to, but she would rather talk her way out of a situation than let it come to bloodshed. She enjoys using her mind to outwit her enemy, and torment her friends. She can be witty or play the dunce depending on the situation and her intentions at that particular time. She has a stubborn streak a mile wide, and is very proud of that fact, making people work to change her mind once she had made a decision.
She is trying to find her place in the world and is not really sure where she belongs, she knows that things go on after dark, or behind closed doors that other people ignore, but she is curious. Curiosity killed the cat you say? Well satisfaction brought it back!, and that is what Serellia is looking for, satisfaction in her life and knowing that she accomplished something other than being just another drone in the human population.
History:
Well as far as lives go Serellia's has been pretty ordinary, her parents were older when they had her so they were more like doting grandparents really, she had pretty much everything she wanted growing up, since her parents had not had children till late in life they had some money saved and had made quite a bit in their careers. There was something different about Serellia, but most couldn't quite put their finger on what it was. Serellia kept her secret well.
Serellia grew up in a small town on the east coast of the U.S.and lived her whole life in the same house. She was a bright and eager student in school and graduated in the top of her class and went on to college to get her degree in preternatural studies, but the death of her parents due to a car accident while they were on vacation in Italy put an end to her school days. She recently sold her parents house and moved to London to get a fresh start and see how the other half of the world lives.
Powers/Training/Experience/weaknesses
Serellia has a secret, a secret she has kept her entire life, the only people who ever knew of it are now dead. Serellia is a telepath, and a touch clairvoyant. She can touch an object or person and 'read' their past. She also being a telepath can read others thoughts, lately though something has changed. She doesn't understand why but now she can actually project her thoughts to others, if she so wishes it.
She has over the years went through specialized training to learn control over her abilities. Since she considers it disturbing to pick up an object and have unwanted flashes of where it has been and who has owned it, she shields herself unless it is necessary to open the channel she needs.
Also being a woman alone, she has taken to doing self defense training and weapons training. She is hoping to find a job doing what she does best, 'reading' things. Before coming to London she helped the F.B.I. to find lost or stolen children with her gifts. Although they never knew she was using a gift, only that she was extremely intelligent and had an uncanny knack for finding things.
Family/Ties: None, an only child and parents are deceased.
