As many of you know i also am admin on Sinful Ties, an Anita Blake spin off rp. My character Trio recently found herself lacking the man she loved. The player went AWOl and has been gone for three months. I would adore if some one would consider taking on this character. below is some info:

Nickname: The Wingless Butterfly and One Of The Chosen Nine
Species: Master Level Vampire
Age, Gender: 3095 years old (turned at 23), D.O.B. 1087 BC
Description:
Aether is just about 5’9” and fair of face. He doesn’t appear too young, but his looks do portray him as being younger then he really is. Aether is very fit having muscular arms and legs. His arms are bulky without being unhealthily weightlifter big. Not only that, but Aether has a very well definitioned chest with a six pack and well good pecks. Aether has short black hair that he generally gels up and forward to give it a designer feel. Aether has very white teeth, a pale contrast when in comparison to his fairly dark skin. Aether’s Hispanic background gives him a dark caramel color skin, but since he has been around on Earth for three thousand years his skin has lightened to that of coffee after adding a lot of cream or milk. On his right cheek Aether has a small beauty mark and underneath his lips a small goatee. Aether’s eyes are a chocolate brown that fill up to a solid color when he uses vampire wiles. Aether’s eyes also turn into that same color brown flame when he is trying to use some of his stronger powers. Aether has two tattoos that are prominent on his body. On his back Aether has a large tattoo of a butterfly that takes up almost his entire back. On the front of Aehter’s body he has a tattoo that is a small march of ants that encircle his bellybutton. For clothing Aether wears a wide array of garments though all of them are modern and only the top of the line. Aether always seems to be wearing the appropriate attire whatever the situation is. He tends to have no favorites, but his environment generally calls for fancier clothing options. Aether’s favorite colors to wear are red and black, but it doesn’t mean he will only wear that. If he is attending a meeting and knows the color scheme of the room he will come in that, but again that is if he has time to prepare. Aether can be usually seen adorning outfits that have not only a jacket, but also a fine silk shirt worn underneath.
Personality:
Aether is an intelligent individual with a mind of his own. However, with that mind comes a very chaotic nature. Aether takes after his sire’s namesake to the fullest extent. Aether is very much the type to act before he thinks and it has been this quality that has gotten him into trouble occasionally. Thankfully, it is a quality that Chaos himself does not regret giving Aether and thus Aether has been able to live to this point. Despite his nature Aether does tend to be somewhat normal around his master. He is chaotic, but never at the expense of his master and though he might want to do his own thing he never disobeys his master. Like all of the really old vampires Aether was forced to pick up some sort of hobby in order to ensure that the long years would not drive him to madness. Unlike most vampires who try to stick to their own era in terms of enjoyments Aether has seemed to go along with the times. With each new fad the mortals take on so too does Aether. He has enjoyed all forms of music as well as art. In fact his room is a display of portraits each one done with a differently style and at the time where that style was at its peak. Aether being Hispanic also enjoys dancing and reading, though his book choices tend to be more towards the new up and coming authors rather then those from the past. Recently Aether has picked up being a DJ enjoying the crowd’s reaction to him not because he is rolling their mind, but simply because he is talented.

Tartessos had been a prospering city in which trade become a major source of income. His own family was no different from the majority who called the lost city home and took to trade like many of the others. However, the world of business was ruthless and private wars were struck between families constantly vying for supremacy. Aether had been raised like all other noble family children. He was taught by tutors all of which emphasized the importance of business. For physical exercise Aether was taught by an instructor to use a blade, mainly a rapier which was the prominent weapon at the time in terms of swords. Aether excelled in the close combat and strangely had a quickness to him that his smaller size then the taller men attributed to.
Being the eldest of his family it was his father’s goal to have him take over the family business. However, Aether didn’t really have any plans of such wanting to see the world and be young for just a bit longer. Aether had no choice however, and plans were set in motion that on his 24th birthday he would take over. Weeks prior to his ascension, Aether was woken from his slumber by the cries of agony and shouts of anger. He found his home being attacked by a rival family one who wished to end the legacy his father and forefathers had created before Aether took over. Aether fought furiously futilely trying to save his family. However, it became obvious that none had survived and that he had only survived because his room was within the corner of the mansion and furthest from all the others. Aether killed many men his skill with a blade finally being used in a fight to the death. Aether was in a loosing battle though and soon enough he found himself retreating for dear life and very close to the brink of death. It was his master Chaos who saved him, his master who came down as if from the heavens and slaughtered his enemies. Chaos had been watching him since the attack on the house and saw promise with Aether promise he did not want to die. He offered Aether the ultimate gift, the chance to not only be forever young, but to be one of his chosen few. Aether accepted wholeheartedly understanding that there was no going back.
Aether’s time with Chaos proceeded from then on. He was too young to rise with his own power and remained close by his sire for centuries to come. During his time with Chaos he met many different people. Chaos and the few vampires he had made first traveled alongside him to what seemed like every corner of the Earth. Aether saw many humans throw themselves at Chaos wishing to be his chosen, but only a few more were chosen, they like Aether were his chosen nine. Aether like all the other members of the nine was sent away when he came into his master powers. He was sent to carve out a piece of Earth for his master’s kingdom to strengthen his kiss. Aether did just that his own kiss growing to support his master’s. When the war finally broke out between Chaos’ kiss and the Council Aether held no reservations. He had no love for the Council and his respect and obedience to his master were second to none. He rose from his kingdom like a tornado come to rip out the roots of the Council and toss them to the wind. However, when his master fell so too did his subordinates, Aether was no different.
Aether’s forces were defeated and he was brought before the Council for judgment. Many wished to destroy him or place him in a cross wrapped coffin like some of the other chosen ones. However, there were a few who wished to bring him into their own kiss thinking that they could use him, mainly Belle Morte and the Earthmover. Belle Morte’s reasons were for baser needs, but Earthmover seemed to be just interested in Chaos’s line his own power being able to affect nature somewhat. Thankfully, or at least in the eyes of Aether, the Earthmover got him. Aether did not stay around the Earthmover for long instead he was shipped to Madrid, Spain where he was given the orders to act as a stalking horse for a rather weak Master of the Earthmover’s bloodline. Aether was to take on all challengers to allow the Master of the City to hold it without actually using any force.
He was there for almost 50 years, but then an unsuspected thing occurred. The Earthmover was killed by a member of Belle Morte’s line, a vampire known as Jean Claude. Suddenly the Council became a lot less interested in Chaos’s progeny and more focused on this Jean Claude and his reasons for not taking the open Council seat. Aether used this chance by killing the old Master of the City and rising to power. Aether then learned of his master Chaos gaining his own lands once more and saw this as an opportunity. In the few years he had been in charge he had sired many vampires and had amassed a small army. He rose up once more waving Chaos’s banner. However, once again he was thwarted this time by the Council’s personal executioners, The Harlequin. Aether survived though just barely. However, the message had been sent to the Council and he felt his Master’s call once more. Aether has come to the call of his master moving swiftly towards Yeovil. He is overjoyed to be have the chance to be again alongside his sire and hopes to further his goals no matter what.
Powers/Training/Experience
Aether is very skilled with a blade mainly a rapier since it was the weapon of his era. Aether has 3000 years of intelligence and is a hard man to fool. Lastly Aether has some other powers that are thanks to his vampiric nature. Being of Chaos’ line Aether has the power to call up the wind and storms similarly to Chaos. Aether is also slightly resistant to sunlight unable to stand directly in the light, but able to go out and watch the sun set, etc. Aether is also proficient at flying and has been considered one of the fastest vampires when it came to flight. This is because he also adds in his ability to call forth wind which helps him move even faster. His hypnosis is powerful thanks to three thousand years of life. Aether is also capable of not only calling all types of bugs, but he can call hyenas and rats as well. Aether is also capable to bleed others from afar as well as give the marks. Lastly Aether is able to crush someone with his power alone (similar to what Padma attempted to do with Anita). The stronger his victim the higher the possibility that they will resist, but weaker victims can be crushed by his power alone. Ather is lastly able to read another’s thoughts or sift through memories with touch. Though this is a power he rarely uses because he much rather prefers to persuade them then overpower them.
Family/Ties:
Had a family though they all died long ago. Chaos is really his only family now.
