Fallen Angels
Angels were all created good but some turned bad on their own. Angels don't need faith as they already have the knowledge of celestial things. Due to their angelic nature, repentance is not possible and their sins are irreversible.
Angels can become “fallen” over a number of things. The first fallen Angel was Lucifer, chose not to bow down and worship mankind, and in turn his jealousy of god love to humans spurned into hate and he revolted, starting the fist war in heaven.
This formed a ripple amongst the Angels, and as Angels have freed many sided with Lucifer. Lucifer and these angels became the first fallen and subsequently fell into the realm of hell, where they now build their forces, becoming more twisted and angered toward God and his Army. Not all fallen Angels follow Lucifer; many choose to exist on earth, staying neutral while others simply do not care about the war between heaven and hell.
As Angels have free will they are free to do as they want, as long as it does not cause them to move against or away from God. Such an example is lust; a vast number of Angels became lustful after mortal women and men and chose to fall to earth. The children of the fallen angels and Mortals are called Nephilim. (See species section on Nephilim) Some Angels choose to fall, envying humans and their lives on earth.
Appearance:
Angels are asexual, neither male nor female. They have no sexual organs. When they fall they develop sexual organs and gender, though in appearance all have an androgynous look to them. Fallen angels are beautiful in every sense of the word. Fallen Angels however have a darkened sense to their appearance; their eyes do not hold any light and in turn have turned midnight blue-black. Their wings loose all light and take on a leathered appearance to them. Unlike Angels, they do not radiate a glow or aura of love, depending on the Fallen Angel and the reason behind the fall, depends on what energy they give out. Fallen Angels can take on a more human appearance if needed.
Powers:
Fallen Angels have the same powers as Angels, they have wings, which remain hidden unless they show them, some have feathered wings, others have wings of light, depending on what order of Angel they were before they fell. They can fly, move with the blink of an eye and teleport. They have incredible strength, telepathy, psychic powers, and are immortal. They do not age, and are hard to be killed.
Weaknesses:
When a fallen Angel takes on mortality they become one hundred percent human, retaining none of their powers, though they are able to see the supernatural world at will, and cannot be taken over by demons. Unlike Angels, they can feel. They feel pain, suffering and in turn are more venerable, taking on injury. They heal quickly and so far, no mortal means has been able to kill a Fallen Angel. The last mass culling of Fallen Angels was the great flood, which was an act of god.
